Thrift Finds : 1

Hi guys! As promised, here’s a post about the thrifted clothes that I just bought sometime this week at Libertad. If you happen to visit Manila, there’s a lot of UKAY-UKAY shops where second-handed clothes and shoes are sold at a low price. Yes, you may think that it is impossible to find something good at used items but if you really look very hard, you might be surprise of what you can find! 🙂

here’s what I got:

I got these two leggings for 100 pesos each so that is like $2.35 USD only! Both are from Giordano, second-hand, but still in a very good condition! 🙂

I got this top for 150 pesos only. I already  have a partner for this but I’m still saving the outfit for a special occasion so wait for that post! 🙂

This sweater is my favorite! I got this for 65 pesos only! It looks like I bought it from F21 because of the design. I love it! ❤

And the last one is this! My super duper love from all that I’ve got! When I first caught my eye on this, i knew right then and there that I had to buy it! Again it looks like an F21 clothing but for a cheaper price! Got this for 65 pesos only and it looks new! 🙂

All in all, i spent 480 pesos for 5 clothes.

Who says Smart Casual attire is boring?

Hello beautiful people! Yesterday was another Philippine Foreign Policy class for me. As what I’ve mentioned on my previous post, we have a schedule of M-W for Corporate/Smart Casual attires.

Smart casual attires is a loosely defined dress code; it is casual in a sense that it still looks smart and presentable enough for people. Others would say that wearing smart casual attires are really boring because you can’t really wear it fashionably but i beg to disagree for I’ve been wearing this kind of outfit for 3 years now and needless to say I am still able to pull of the style that I want even if I am wearing a blazer or slacks. 🙂

My trick here is the choice of colors. I choose colors which are Classic neutral and dark colors so that even if my Blazer is not really very formal in look, it can blend well with the colors and still look smart casual. For accessories, choose something that will match the over-all outfit but won’t look over the top. For shoes, wedges, pumps and sandals are of great choice if the colors are of classic neutrals or of dark shade.

To school I go

Hi guys! Here’s a quick outfit post of what i wore yesterday at school. We Benildeans don’t really have uniforms so we can wear anything except for short shorts, flip-flops, torn pants, or revealing clothing. But for CDA or AB-Consular and Diplomatic Affairs student like me, we have Monday to Wednesday schedule for corporate attires or smart casual because we have professors that are Ambassadors which obviously requires a formal look. While Thursday to Saturday is our dress down days.

Here are some shots of my outfit last night 🙂 By the way, my classes always starts from 6-9pm because most of our Professors/Ambassadors are not really a morning kind of person. (Hehehe) 🙂

Happy three years of love <3

Yesterday, me and Tosh celebrated our 3rd Anniversary as a couple. As mainstream as it is, we had our dinner date at Yakimix buffet restaurant at Greenbelt 3, Makati because I was craving for some Japanese food 🙂 not his first choice though, but at least I was able to satisfy my cravings, you know like a boss  (Hehe)

Since we’ll be grilling a lot, I chose something simple yet classy  and something which would help me breathe but still look sexy while pigging out ;p so I wore this semi-loose top and paired it with a tight-fitting skirt. I opted to wear just a simple watch and gold dangling earrings to keep up with the simple look that I want. Since the color of my top and bottom were neutral, I decided to pair it with a brown bag and brown wedges to stick with the earthy-ish tone of my outfit. What do you think? 🙂
