Thrift Finds : 1

Standard

Hi guys! As promised, here’s a post about the thrifted clothes that I just bought sometime this week at Libertad. If you happen to visit Manila, there’s a lot of UKAY-UKAY shops where second-handed clothes and shoes are sold at a low price. Yes, you may think that it is impossible to find something good at used items but if you really look very hard, you might be surprise of what you can find! πŸ™‚

here’s what I got:

I got these two leggings for 100 pesos each so that is like $2.35 USD only! Both are from Giordano, second-hand, but still in a very good condition! πŸ™‚

I got this top for 150 pesos only. I alreadyΒ  have a partner for this but I’m still saving the outfit for a special occasion so wait for that post! πŸ™‚

This sweater is my favorite! I got this for 65 pesos only! It looks like I bought it from F21 because of the design. I love it! ❀

And the last one is this! My super duper love from all that I’ve got! When I first caught my eye on this, i knew right then and there that I had to buy it! Again it looks like an F21 clothing but for a cheaper price! Got this for 65 pesos only and it looks new! πŸ™‚

All in all, i spent 480 pesos for 5 clothes.

Here’s a picture of me wearing the brown leggings and the beige sweater: I know, I’m excited and I can’t wait any longer so there! (hahaha) Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I was rushing that time because I have class πŸ™‚

I’ll be posting tips on how to thrift shop on my next post.Β  I was supposed to include it here but I am really running out of time so I’ll just post it on my next post. I’M SORRY! So that’s it for now, I hope you like it! Feel free to give your comments guys! πŸ™‚

DIY Project 1 : Stackable ArmCandy Bracelet

Standard

ArmCandy Bracelets has become a fad now in many teens and young adults. I’ve been seeing lots of pictures in Instagram where they stacked fun colorful bracelets together and it looks yummy with all the colors in it, very playful and fashionable! So I decided to check my old pile of accessories if I happen to have colorful bracelets that i can still use. Unfortunately there wasn’t any and some has loosed nylons already. I tried canvassing at the mall but it was too costly for me so I decided to make my own. This is my very first DIY Do-it-yourself Project that i will post here on my blog and it is very easy! πŸ™‚

MATERIALS:

1. BEADS– I used the beads from my old bracelets which has loosed nylons. You can also use beads from broken bracelets or necklaces if you don’t want to have it repaired.

2. NYLONS– I used the old nylons that I have but if you don’t have any, you can buy it for 15-20pesos only.

3. SCISSORS

How was it done? Simple! I just picked some beads that i want and inserted it in the nylon, I checked if it fits my wrist then I cut and tied it. Easy breezy right? πŸ™‚ The cool part here is that you have the freedom to choose what should be in your bracelet and customize it just the way you want it to be–your taste, your style.

Here are the pictures of the bracelets that I made:

Here are the pictures of my Stackable ArmCandy Bracelets that were stacked together in my wrist =)) I divided it into two sets so here’s the first one,

THE FUN&

COLORFUL ARMCANDY BRACELETS

And with a little addition to make it pop…

Next is THE NOT-SO-COLORFUL ARMCANDY BRACELETS

This is perfect for the casual or ragged get-up. I will post outfit pictures wearing these ArmCandy Bracelets that i made so wait for that πŸ™‚ Here’s a little add-ons..

I even MIXED and MATCHED it with my other bracelets! What do you think? πŸ™‚

Okay, so I got really hyped up with these! It’s amazing how you can come up with different styles using these adorable handmade pieces. Easy, affordable and fashionable! Agree? πŸ™‚ Let me know your thoughts! Feel free to give your comments πŸ™‚
