Retail and Manicure Therapy :)

Standard

Okay, not that I am in a state of depression or transition, It’s just that it has been my short-lived habit of lightening and improving  my mood that I go on a retail and manicure therapy. It’s something that I usually do to lessen a stressful day. Treating yourself to something nice at the shops or doing something nice for yourself once in a while apparently makes you happier and leaves bad moods.

I went first at Nail Bar, University Mall to have a manicure and here’s a picture of the nail polish I’ve chosen. I chose this light pink nail polish from Orly to match my IPhone case which is a gift from my sister hehe It’s my first time to use this after a year of just stacking it on my pile of phone cases 🙂

After having my nails pampered, I went straight to Bedazzle Accessories Shop. Here’s what i bought. Two tassel earrings in black and pink and a gold/yellow necklace. The tassel earrings each cost me 80 pesos which is equivalent to 1.91 USD while the necklace cost me 180 which is equivalent to 4.30 USD 🙂

I will post pictures wearing these items that I bought maybe next week so what do you guys think? Feel free to give your comments guys! 🙂

Accessory Addict

Standard

I have been feeling under the weather for the last few weeks which got me into being lazy at everything so I decided to try being productive today! It has been 4 months since I last fixed and sort out my accessories. It’s already cluttered all over my cabinet and is piling up so much that I had to immediately organize it because I am having a hard time looking and finding jewelries that will match my outfit . So when I woke up this afternoon, I grabbed all my accessories and arranged everything. I separated the ones that I often use from the old ones. I compiled my necklaces, bracelets, bangles, earrings and rings separately and here’s how it turned out:

Bangles

Earrings and Rings

I had this earrings and rings box arbored from my mom and she immediately agreed because she knows how ‘burara’ I am hehe 🙂

I got this accessory holder last Christmas break at Singapore from Diva. It was so cute and adorable that I had to buy it even though it costs $25 haha 🙂 Anyways my Mom paid for it so it’s a hassle free for me. Since I really don’t have a permanent home right now, I can’t have those accessory holder stand where  I can just hang all my necklaces, and bangles because I am currently renting a Condo near school and there are 3 of us who shared on one condo unit which means limited space on everything. Although I have my own room at our house in Bulacan, I had to eventually leave it because my whole family is now residing at Singapore and I’m left here in the Philippines to finish my studies. Hopefully after graduation when I move to Singapore, I’d be able to have my dream room with a walk-in closet where I can have my accessories, shoes, clothes and bags all piled up neatly—then I’d be able to have accessory stand and  I wouldn’t have to use zip-locks for my jewelries anymore Hahaha 🙂

Necklaces

Earrings and watches

These are some of my favorite stud earrings because I have 3 piercings each on both left and right ears. I am currently using the earrings from Diva.

Here are some pictures of my accessories. These are just some of my favorites, but I promise to give you a look of my whole collection of it.

Again some of my favorite bangles and bracelets, this holder was given by a close friend, Amanda. She gave this to me because she’s leaving for States and she knew that I’m the only one who can use this and she’s definitely right 🙂

Now I can find my accessories easily without taking so much time! Hoping that I’ll be able to maintain this and have it as organized as possible even for a month! Fingers-crossed! 🙂

Cherry Blossoms

Standard
This is a cherry blossom inspired outfit post, nothing fancy here since I already used this a couple of times already, but a girl’s gotta be practical you know. Even celebrities repeat clothes 😉 So back to my outfit,  I entitled this post as Cherry blossoms because the colors are very similar with my outfit which is light/baby pink. Pink has always been my favorite color when it comes to my things and this was no exception. This is also the reason why I love cherry blossoms because of its color, although I haven’t really got a chance to see it in actual but I’m hoping that someday I’d be able to =)
Here are the pictures:
TOP/ New Look
SHORTS/ Pink Manila
EARRINGS/ Forever 21

This is one of my favorite outfits because it looks very feminine, girly and sweet 😉 So what do you guys think?

Tribal Prints

Standard

Last Sunday afternoon was a bum day for me so I decided to play dress up! Girls love playing dress up although guys don’t usually understand the way I dress =) *haha* Anyhow, this dress is one of my wardrobe favorites even though I’ve used it a couple of times already. It’s really comfortable to wear and it hides my fats, (which is a plus for a chubby girl like me) and also for the fact that tribal/ Aztec prints are in this year! So I brought my stuff at my boyfriend’s house and had some cam-whoring session with his sister/my sister, Miko. The reason why the background in my picture are always the same– in the corridors of their condominium, because I don’t have someone to take my outfit pictures so obviously I still have to go to my boyfriend’s house just to have some decent photos to post here and on lookbook =)

Here are some shots of my outfit last sunday:

DRESS/ Forever21

CARDIGAN/ Grand Central Mall

CLUTCH/ Singapore Brand

I kept the accessories minimal because my earrings were already bulky. I actually wore this outfit last Valentines day and I haven’t got a picture taken wearing this that’s why I decided to wear it again and have a decent photo of it =)

What do you guys think? Hype this look on lookbook.nu Thank you! ❤

Thrift Finds : 1

Standard

Hi guys! As promised, here’s a post about the thrifted clothes that I just bought sometime this week at Libertad. If you happen to visit Manila, there’s a lot of UKAY-UKAY shops where second-handed clothes and shoes are sold at a low price. Yes, you may think that it is impossible to find something good at used items but if you really look very hard, you might be surprise of what you can find! 🙂

here’s what I got:

I got these two leggings for 100 pesos each so that is like $2.35 USD only! Both are from Giordano, second-hand, but still in a very good condition! 🙂

I got this top for 150 pesos only. I already  have a partner for this but I’m still saving the outfit for a special occasion so wait for that post! 🙂

This sweater is my favorite! I got this for 65 pesos only! It looks like I bought it from F21 because of the design. I love it! ❤

And the last one is this! My super duper love from all that I’ve got! When I first caught my eye on this, i knew right then and there that I had to buy it! Again it looks like an F21 clothing but for a cheaper price! Got this for 65 pesos only and it looks new! 🙂

All in all, i spent 480 pesos for 5 clothes.

Here’s a picture of me wearing the brown leggings and the beige sweater: I know, I’m excited and I can’t wait any longer so there! (hahaha) Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I was rushing that time because I have class 🙂

NECKLACE/ Accesorize

SHOES/ Rubi

Not bad right? 🙂

I’ll be posting tips on how to thrift shop on my next post.  I was supposed to include it here but I am really running out of time so I’ll just post it on my next post. I’M SORRY! So that’s it for now, I hope you like it! Feel free to give your comments guys! 🙂

Who says Smart Casual attire is boring?

Standard

Hello beautiful people! Yesterday was another Philippine Foreign Policy class for me. As what I’ve mentioned on my previous post, we have a schedule of M-W for Corporate/Smart Casual attires.

Smart casual attires is a loosely defined dress code; it is casual in a sense that it still looks smart and presentable enough for people. Others would say that wearing smart casual attires are really boring because you can’t really wear it fashionably but i beg to disagree for I’ve been wearing this kind of outfit for 3 years now and needless to say I am still able to pull of the style that I want even if I am wearing a blazer or slacks. 🙂

My trick here is the choice of colors. I choose colors which are Classic neutral and dark colors so that even if my Blazer is not really very formal in look, it can blend well with the colors and still look smart casual. For accessories, choose something that will match the over-all outfit but won’t look over the top. For shoes, wedges, pumps and sandals are of great choice if the colors are of classic neutrals or of dark shade.

Here are some pictures of my outfit last night:

INNER TOP/ Forever21

BLAZER/ Sunshine, Singapore Brand

PANTS/ Grand Central Mall

BAG/ Donkie Mania, Korean Brand, SHOES/ Thrifted

NOTE: I’ll be posting my Thrift Finds here so wait for that! You’ll be amazed on how beautiful yet affordable  those pieces that I got =)

WATCH/ Alba, BRACELETS/ Accesorize

And of course a picture of me wearing my very trusted flats 🙂 These are a must have if you’re wearing heels so that in case of emergency, you can easily change.

Alright guys, I got to go I’m actually really sleepy right now, haven’t slept since i got home from school. Feel free to comment anytime guys! 🙂
